Boerne Overlook Project - Boerne, Texas

When we first met with the homeowners, they talked a lot about the character of their property. The mature trees, the natural landscaping, and the way the yard already felt like its own quiet retreat. The goal wasn’t to overpower that setting, but to design a pool environment that felt grounded within it and created a private place to relax outdoors.

We built the design around a pool-width spa finished in blue mosaic tile that stretches across the entire end of the pool, creating a bold visual centerpiece while still complementing the surrounding stone and greenery. Around the pool, we designed a spacious deck that wraps the entire area, giving the homeowners plenty of room to lounge in the sun and enjoy the space.

To keep the environment intimate and comfortable, the deck is enclosed with a privacy wall that frames the pool area and creates a sense of seclusion from the rest of the property. From there, the space opens into the surrounding yard with access down to the crushed stone garden and landscaped backyard, tying the finished pool area back into the natural beauty of the property.
